Sunset (5 PM) - Boat or Grab to Wat Saket / Golden Mount for sunset (5:30 PM). - Walk down to Khao San Road for dinner + nightlife (or skip Khao San and Grab back to your hotel).
Dinner - Casual: Mr. Joe (Old Town Thai) or Tom Yum noodles at Pee Aor (Banthat Thong). - Splurge: Jay Fai (Michelin-starred street food, book months ahead) or 80/20 (modern Thai).

Variations

- Foodie 3-day: replace Jim Thompson House with Or Tor Kor Market + a cooking class.
- Family 3-day with kids: add Lumpini Park boats + ICONSIAM fountain show + water park (Siam Park / Pororo Aquapark) Day 3.
- Layover (24 hours): see tip-bangkok-layover-18-hours (future entry) — compress to one day.
What to skip in 3 days
- Day-trips to Ayutthaya, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Khao Yai. Save for 4+ days.
- Floating markets (Damnoen Saduak, Amphawa) — half-day commitments. Save for 4+ days.
- Hospital tourism, multi-class wellness retreats.
- "Authentic local" street stalls outside the central districts — too much transit time for the payoff.
